Let’s be honest—Microsoft Copilot is brilliant (when delivered to a business correctly, which we do for you of course!)
It’s like having a supercharged assistant who never sleeps and always knows where your files are. But until now, there was one little niggle: having to manually run the same prompts over and over again. Every. Single. Week. 😩
Well, Microsoft heard us. And they’ve delivered.
🚀 Say Hello to Scheduled Prompts
Remember that short-lived “Actions” feature from a few months back? It’s back, rebranded, and way more useful. Scheduled prompts let you automate your regular Copilot queries—so you can finally put your productivity on cruise control.
No more copy-pasting the same prompt every Friday. Just set it once, and Copilot will run it for you like clockwork. Whether it’s a weekly project summary, a team update, or prepping for next week’s meetings—Copilot has got it covered.
🐾 Regal Rovers Gets the Autopilot Treatment
In our demo, we asked Copilot for the latest updates on our fictional mobile dog grooming biz, Regal Rovers 🐶🚐. It pulled together Teams messages, files, and even threw in some emojis (yes, we noticed the megaphone 📣—nice touch).
It remembered our formatting preferences (tables, please!) and gave us a neat summary with file names, descriptions, authors, and dates. Then we scheduled that prompt to run every Friday at 3:30pm. Boom. Done.
🛠️ How It Works
1. Run your favourite prompt.
2. Click the three dots menu.
3. Choose “Schedule this prompt.”
4. Set your time, frequency, and duration (up to 15 runs).
5. Sit back and let Copilot do the legwork.
💡 Why It Matters
This is a game-changer for anyone who:
– Runs regular project updates
– Preps for weekly meetings
– Wants to stay productive even when they’re off on a cheeky Friday leave 🍹
Copilot on autopilot means less admin, more insight, and a smoother start to your week.
