Supercharge SharePoint with Microsoft Copilot’s New Page Agent: Faster, Smarter Content Creation

Dec 1, 2025 | CoPilot, AI, Sharepoint, Youtube

The pace of change within Microsoft Copilot is relentless – and nowhere is this more obvious than in the growing army of agents Microsoft keeps rolling out. It feels like every day there’s a new one to play with. Recently, we’ve seen some exciting additions like the Canva Agent 🎨 and the Workflows Agent 🔄, but today we’re diving into one that’s a game-changer for anyone managing content on SharePoint: the SharePoint Page Agent.

🤔 What’s the Big Deal?

Until now, creating SharePoint pages with AI was pretty straightforward:
New Page → From AI → Fill out prompts → Done.

But this new agent takes things up a notch. Instead of starting from scratch, you can now ask the agent to create a page based on:
✅ Files
✅ Meeting summaries
✅ Emails
✅ Or any other prompt you fancy

It then drafts a concept page, lets you pick the SharePoint site, and publishes it for you. No fuss, no faff. Pretty slick, right? 😎

⚡ How It Works (Spoiler: It’s Easy)

  1. Add the Agent
Head to your Copilot chat interface, click All Agents, and look for SharePoint Page Agent under “Built by Microsoft.” If you can’t see it, just search for it and hit Add. Pin it for quick access. 📌
  2. Start the Conversation
Once added, you can chat directly with the agent. It even comes with handy suggestions like:
    • Summarise a project
    • Recap a meeting or event
    • Create a weekly update
    • Outline team priorities
Or, just type your own prompt. For example:
“Summarise this file and create a SharePoint page.”
  3. Watch the Magic Happen ✨
The agent will pull key sections from your content (think market analysis, financial planning, risk management) and format them beautifully into a SharePoint page. You can tweak, add sections, or keep it as is. Then, select your SharePoint site and hit Publish. Done. ✅

💡 Pro Tip: Call It From Any Copilot Chat

Here’s where it gets clever. You don’t have to be in the agent’s window to use it. If you’re deep in a Copilot conversation and think, “This would make a great SharePoint page,” just @mention the SharePoint Page Agent and tell it what you want.

Example:
“@SharePoint Page Agent – create a page from this summary and include a KPI tracking table.”

Boom 💥. Draft created. Site selected. Page published. All without breaking your workflow.

👍 Why We Love It

Publishing SharePoint content can be a bit of a slog. This agent makes it faster, easier, and frankly more fun. It won’t get you 100% of the way there, but if it gets you 80–90% done in minutes, that’s a win. Add your images, tweak the layout, and you’re good to go.

From the Iglu team, it’s a big thumbs up. 👍 If you’re responsible for SharePoint content, this is one agent you’ll want in your Copilot toolkit.
