Digital Transformation for forward thinking Specialised Insurer supporting workplace risks throughout NSW (New South Wales – Australia)  

Customer Business Summary 

StateCover Mutual has been operating since 2001, supporting the workplace insurance risk requirements of NSW Councils and other local government entities, and now covering around 94% of eligible Councils and a workforce of approximately 31,000 employees. 

Daily Challenges 

StateCover needed a way to centralise internal digital assets and power internal employee collaboration through a centralised platform. They required a way for internal employees to raise tickets with their support teams, using an intuitive and easy to manage and scale forum, from which to drive change. 

The Solution 

Following a period of consultation and discovery, where ISAAC took the time to understand the vision and corporate goals of StateCover – with a ‘member-centric’ philosophy, it was easy for ISAAC to align with that ethos on the basis that all of our applications are already human-centric and human-first. 

We agreed on our Oxygen Intranet Solution, with two separate, yet integrated Oxygen HelpDesksolutions to cater for different requirements internally to raise and manage support tickets across a number of connected yet disparate project-based teams. Intranet was further enhanced with the edition of Microsoft Yammer.  

 Impact on Business 

Oxygen Intranet and HelpDesk from ISAAC has gelled an already strong team, enabling users to locate colleagues from within the Intranet and our unique ‘Baseball Card’ personnel profiles, which pulls data from their existing Active Directory. 

Already proactively social, StateCover make excellent use of all Oxygen Intranet tools – Yammer, Baseball Cards, Digital Asset Management, Policies and Template libraries, as well as announcements and events, and ‘from the CEO’ notices.
