We’re delighted to share some fantastic enhancements to our new starter process, designed to make your new employees’ first day a breeze and add real value to your onboarding experience.
Ready, Set, Go! We’ve streamlined our setup process so that each new employee’s device is fully configured and ready to go. This means they can hit the ground running from day one, enjoying a seamless and productive start without any technical hiccups.
Stylish and Practical Laptop Case: Every new laptop (where the device is provided via iglu) will now come in a complementary high-quality padded laptop case. This isn’t just about protection; it’s a stylish and practical accessory that your employees can use now and in the future. As well as the laptop device itself, they will also receive a welcome letter from iglu providing details on how best to get support from iglu as and when required. In addition to that, they will also receive an insulated water bottle!

Personalised Welcome Call: To ensure everything goes smoothly, a member of our Helpdesk team will schedule a call with your new employee as soon as possible. During this welcome call, we will:
- Walk them through their setup, applications, and services.
- Show them the best ways to get support if needed.
- Answer any questions they may have.
Our aim is to make their transition as smooth as possible and help you get the most out of our IT solutions. This is very much aimed at supporting them and is not a sales-related conversation.
SLA and Timescales: To ensure we can provide and configure the new starter’s device in time for their start date, please note the following timescales:
- New user setup (using own device or device provided by company): 7 working days from point of quote approval by customer.
- New user setup (where a laptop is required and ordered through Iglu): 10 working days from the point of quote approval by customer.
Please note that requests made outside of these timescales may result in iglu being unable to fulfil the order and the device not set up in time for the new starter’s start date. There may be cases where certain devices carry a longer lead time on delivery. In such instances, Iglu will keep you fully informed of any extended lead times.
